Lovely Quilt By a Lovely Lady

My friend and customer, Carolyn, made a lovely blue and white quilt which has the Oregon Trail block in it.  She let me quilt what I wanted.  Her only request was some feathers.  So here’s the result.  I used Quilters Dream Poly Deluxe batting and Sew Fine Thread in white and various shades of blue.  The feathers are free hand while the blocks have a stencil design.
