Hop To It

My friend Anne does the most beautiful applique.  Here’s her latest quilt called Hop To It.

Isn’t it just beautiful!  Lots of stitch in the ditch around the applique with a background fill of feathers, flowers and curls.  One border has a leaf motif which is repeated in the stitched circle in the large sashing squares.  Outer border has scallop with feathers and double piano keys.  I used Hobbs 80/20 batting with 1/2 thickness of  Hobbs PolyDown and Sew Fine thread.

And the back.

I wish I had more pictures.  I took more closeups of each block, but unfortunately, many of them were blurry.  Who knows what happened?

Thanks for stopping by to visit.  Have a beautiful day.
