Each year my Sandhills Quilt Guild picks or creates a pattern and makes and quilt to raffle. Two years ago, we did a Michele Hill pattern and brought in $$$ for our treasury. The Guild uses our treasury to educate quilters, and provide quilts and donations to charities in our area.
This year a good friend, Ellene, decided to do another Wm. Morris quilt. She picked the pattern, choose the fabric, made up block kits, and then assembled the blocks. Since Ellene is also a longarm quilter, we colaborated on the quilting design. I used QD wool batting with Sew Fine thread. The quilt has been “blocked” and hangs beautifully.
If you are interested in purchasing a raffle ticket for this quilt, you may contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets are $1 for 1 or $5 for 6. I’ll accept checks or PayPal and will return your ticket stubs if you send me a SASE. Drawing will be in November.
Any background color differences you see is a result of my photography.
Thanks for stopping by.
