Recently I went to the AQS show in Charlotte, NC. Since I’m a longarm quilter, I zoom in on how a quilt is quilted. Always looking for ideas, different ways to quilt a design, different background fills. Anything that will expand my quilting knowledge. I’m sure what interested me was not new, but I think the more I study other quilts, the more I will incorporate new designs, placement ideas, thread colors into my own work. Here’s a few of the pictures I took and what I want to remember.
Background fill with McTavishing type lines and pebbles
Simply beautiful border design
Quilting those skinny points
Half circle frame and pebbles around appliqué
Beautiful feather designs on battenburg lace wholecloth
More posts coming with entire quilt pics and quilting.
Thanks for stopping by.
